Hello!
If you've landed here, it is because I expectantly had to be out today and for whatever reason could not prepare a sub plan. Thank you for your flexibility with everything.
Below, you will find a few documents about the rules of the room. Attendance is posted here as well.
Thank you so much,
Allison Penwell
GBJH - Room 109
ESDH - Room 119
HRA - Dartmouth Music Center, large rehearsal room
If you are a music/band teacher and feel comfortable rehearsing them, please do! I would love that and so would they. All my scores will be found on my stand.
GBJH: I have separate binders for each grade.
ESDH: All in one binder, warm-ups and the front
Please, rehearse what you want. Ask for suggestions from them, have fun! I'm so just happy they will be playing.
All students, grades 7 through 12 have theory booklets and listening booklets in their binders. If they don't have them ON them, they would be in a marking pile/pass back pile on my
desks.
THEORY: If I'm not able to give you page numbers for them to work on, you can ask them to work on pages they feel comfortable self-teaching (if you're not a music teacher - if you are, please go
ahead and pick a topic and teach them). Ask them to hand in anything they do.
LISTENING: They can move to the next page in their booklet. There is a playlist link below that you can pick a song from and play it from the whole class) or, alternatively - have them listening
individually and pick one from the list
**There are already copied questions in my desk - right hand side, filled under "substitute"
In my desk (right hand side) you will find the DRUM! DVD. It's a really great concert to watch with students. The only catch is that you have to set the DVD to run off my desktop and the LCD).
